English language challenges

I would learn to speak better English. So I feel that not handling well and I don’t like this. I also believe that the best way is traveling, so I think to do it in a few months. Honestly it’s the language that I dislike, but I think it is very necessary for my future like journalist. That's why I work hard and do it soon.

I think that the best way of learn a language is with other persons. I will start to study Japanese in this semester and although it’s a language completely different from ours, if accompanied by other people is easier. That's why I travel to learn better English, because is cheaper travel to USA that Asia…

My teacher in the university told me that in my profession it’s said that if you study a different language, you can increase your salary by 50 %. I decided to go for this way and learn many languages. I hope that's true and when it does get busy but first I must learn to speak English very, very well.

The English is a language that I not understand. In my school I has teachers so bad and I dislike. I prefer study Korean or Chinese… but in these countries the English is a second language, too. I don’t have a escape ja ja ja

First semester reflections

I thought I wouldn’t have a first half this year… but I’m here. I just have lesions of English so, I speak about my first half in my life. 

In the university, I finished my title’s memory (like thesis). I quit my job and all semester I wrote about Asia. My memory is about how Japan and South Korea influence in the Chilean cultural industry since the fans of this countries. I’m so happy with the final paper but two teachers haven’t revised; wherever my first note was 6,7 :D In one more month I will have my defense… I’m so nervous but my friend told me that anybody knows about this topic like me because I wrote! 

In my church, I started to lead the Young Ministry. I’m the boss now but I don’t wish this. I gained many responsibilities and challenges. I have the double of meetings and work and I fought with my family and my friend for this, too. But it’s what I like and finally they understand that. My time with they is so small, my mother and sister continues told me this but I cook something very tasty and don’t bother me.

Finally, I think that the first semester was an opportunity for finished my projects and start the second half like a new person. Until now, this year has meant many changes in my life that I hope to establish with security in this semester and in the next year. So we go for the second half and make this a great year!

My vision of American Cup

My feelings about American Cup are only happiness. I'm chilean and the triumph in this tournament is like a dream for us... but, there're some things that it's impossible to ignore about this.

Is important to say that the games were SO boring during the group stage, except the match between Paraguay and Argentina where Lucas-Barrios razed against Messi and company or the match where Brazil beat Peru with a agonizing goal in the ultimate minute.

But actual games you could see them in the quarterfinals. Different countries gave great surprises! In the case of Chile, overcomes the favorite, Uruguay, generating a series of disputes by arbitration and
doubts for a foul he committed player Gonzalo Jara (Chile) that led to the expulsion of Edinson Cavani (Uruguay). The controversy continues in the other matches with Peru and the final game with Argentina, calling into question the legitimate triumph of Chile (in my opinion).
 
Another controversy was the one that carried out the Argentine striker Lionel Messi, named the best player in the world during the American Cup. Argentines criticized his performance on the field, saying he slept throughout the game. There is also a rumor that refused to be named best player for this reason, although not confirmed officially. This fogged the triumph that led to the final, when they beat by 6-1 to Paraguay team in the quarter-final rematch.


I'm anxious to see what will happen next year -Chile will not play like local- in the Centennial American Cup in USA. Is Chile will be able to maintain leadership? The mood is intact! Chile you can!

If I were a rich

If I were rich, I would to give something at my group of charity. Maybe the elderly on the street could be a night over the roof, in a comfortable bed. This is my dream.

If I were rich, I would to travel with my mother at other country. She dream to go at Jerusalen and Vatician, but it’s expensive. If I were rich, She would to go with her sisters and (why not?) her pets. They can’t to exit of house without their pets… I don’t understand this.

 If I were rich, probably I give my money at other causes that I follow like protection of children and abandoned elderly. Actually, I were like a new Leonardo Farkas but with look of Paris Hilton #okno

If I were rich, I hope to make it through a lucky game.  I don’t want to become in an ugly person with the power of money. I don’t want to become in a money machine without feelings.

If I were rich, I would to pay all my education and I don’t have the preoccupation that now I have xD But, I’m sure that I would other more disturbing things. My sister said “If you have more money, you have more costs…” So, I think I prefer to be a poor person because I so happy in this moment.

My Future Job

I’m studing journalism. In my country the possibilities to find a job in my area are SO difficult. Most people think that journalism is only for TV but I don't wish to search a job in this area… I hate this!

When I thought to study journalism, I would to work for many things like political opinion, investigation or social helping, inclusive. But, with the time, I thought my idea is not real! Find a job with this characteristics involve winning a government contest or something like this. It’s impossible. 

Now, I pretend to work in a different area of my career: social investigation. This does not report a lot of money but I like it and I think I do it very well… so, It’s easy for me. Also, I like to write about music or asian culture and I work with a religion group in a project of radio and TV in a site of internet. I see my future in this place or in this area. This is the future of journalism, this is the digital age.

I worked in a place that I did not like at all and was very strenuous. Just for the money. I was not happy at the time. I think when you’re searching a new job, you have to consider some items, for example, yours abilities and things that you like. If you mix this, maybe you can live happy. This is most important.

My favorite food is...

The topic today is… FOOD!

Ok. The food is too complicated when you’re a woman. You pretending to look at all calorie table but if you want to eat when you watch a movie or –in my case- a k-drama it’s impossible. Why  k-dramas ALWAYS have a scene with food?! It’s horrible!!! But it isn’t topic today…

My favorite food is ramen. Maybe because I watch too k-dramas or because the ramen is very cheap or it’s very simple and quick to cook but the ramen is the BEST FOOD EVER! You just need boiling water, wait 3 minutes and ... voila! You ramen is ready!

The ramen is very, very simple: noodles and soup. If you want, you can to add some eggs, meet, fish, vegetables or anything for flawor. You can decide how amazing to your friends with your best recipe (remember to share in a comment)

I inquiring online, I find that there is a ramen museum called “Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum”. In this place, you can see different kind of ramen and its history. It’s a dream for me but I don’t have money to travel at Japan :’(

MBLAQ in Chile: The most important concert for my EVER!

The Caupolican Theatre represent for me the place where my dreams can to be a fact. I ‘m A+. I’m fan of MBLAQ, a singers group of kpop.


I remember when I created the fan page of MBLAQ in Chile I never to believe we would to see at own favorite group here. SeungHo, G.O, Lee Joon, Thunder and Mir lives in South Korea and was a fact that they can’t to travel… but they came.


We celebrate the 5th anniversary of MBLAQ and we send a cake with other fanbases of the other countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina) and we pray for all can to eat the cake because SeungHo love the food… In this moment Fran and me (the president and secretary of fanclub) listen the notice of MBLAQ came to Chile.


The visits on the fanpage increase so much and the stress was horrible but all this forgot this day. I pay 100.000 pesos for my VIP ticket. But at july, 11 2014 all the problems and discutions were nothing because I CAN TO BE WITH G.O ON THE SCENARIO! Yes, I was the person that gives the presents of Chilean fans. He was SO cute and HOT! He isn't the men of my live but he’s handsome and smell very well #myth ha ha ha ha

A country I'd like to visit

I'd like to travel for different places in the world, but my favorite country is Korea.

There are many things that I like in this country. Korea is the perfect mix of tradition and modernity. 

I love how the korean people live following theirs traditions but working with the technology. This were the form that they think to get up their country after the war.

I admire so much the korean people. The kids are in the college all day. They study 20 hours in a day -not is a fact, I supossed- because their expect of live is come to study in other country or (if the student no have money), study in the traditional university. The problem is the test... is so difficult!

The family is the most important for the korean people. Their houses are a temple and are so conffortable with their visits. The food of the korean mothers -or ajhummas in korean- is the best of the world! They loves the age of the persons. Their lenguage depend of this. They used differents kinds of words if you're a superior of the word or you have more age. They means honorifics.

In the occidental society this respect for the people with more age is lost and I hate this. I think taht they are persons that can to give more experience about the life, about the history, about everything! I like so much how the korean culture -and oriental cultures- loves theirs forms of comunicate with other persons.

I'd like to visit the symbol of the Joseon Dinasty: The Gyeongbokgung Palace. This place have 600 years and is one of the Five Palace of Seoul. In this place, the king decides the future of all people and celebrate the multitudinary ceremonies in his honor. In the Gyeongbokgung Palace was filmed all the series I love!!! I dream to visit the Mayor Salon and to become a queen for 5 minutes! *-*

Other site I'd like to visit is the Korean Folk Village. In this place, there are many performans about the life in different regions of Korea, all in the same place. Is wonderfull and free! This place was used as filming "The Moon embraces The Sun" in 2012, one of my favorite series.

The books and me...

The literature is very important in our lives, because with this we can write, learn and talk of a better and faster.

Papelucho

I have to read a lot in my career because I have to. But in myholidays I like to read other things. When I was a children, I had a lot of books in myhouse because my uncles gave them to me. But I loved reading those books because in the south of Chile is very good read a book outside or in a day of rain.
In one year I read about 30 or more books. I like reading booksand I prefer romantic fiction. My favorite writer is Gabriel García Márquez and my favorite book is "Pregúntale a Alicia" My favorite character in literature is Papelucho because it's very funny and cute. I remember that I was like him.

The last book I read was "New Moon" I really liked because it was the continuation of another book called "Twilight" (Best seller) I read on my vacation and I took about 2 weeks to read. This is the second part of a great vampire story. It is narrated in first person by Bella Swan and are concerned about her depression and her friendship with Jacob Black... after Edward (his love) to escape from it because he believed that he's a danger to her life after they had an accident in celebrating her birthday in his house with his brother vampire. It is a story full of love, mystery, blood and revenge... I really like it!

This is my favorite photo. I took it and this is a too self-referential but really is my favorite photo :P

In my class of Photographic in the university, we were a job about a visual reportage and I choose to do about the faith. So, I have a opportunity to assist of celebration  of Quasimodo in a church next to my home.

There was many people help at other person for receive the Blessed Sacrament. It was a very happy holiday, with decorated bikes and people singing and walking through the streets of my neighborhood, but that was not what caught my attention.

I wanted to show in my photographs the closeness between these people and a divine presence. I wanted to know the reaction of the sick or elderly to receive a religious community. I wanted to reflect why it is celebrated every year with much success in Chile.

The woman that is in the photo was very sick but we were welcomed with happiness and emotion. In this moment  I took the picture and I could feel the gratitude of her. The men that is in the photo is the deacon of my church. In the picture is centered on the old woman's face.

I like this photo because I think that was my best photo for this job (in fact is in the centre of the collage) but maybe this is not very important. Mostly I like this picture because I believe that faith can to be the engine of a person's life. Capture the exact moment where this occurs is a blessing. I would be consistent as the old woman and believe blindly in God and that he is with me as she is with he now.

I don't go to the cinema

  I like going to the cinema, but I don't know why somepeople spend so much money in this. I never pay a ticket for to go the cinema, ever. When I was a girl my parent bougth the tickets and now, I go to the cinema free for win a prize. I'm a lucky woman :D
 
  The last movie that I see in a cinema was Mamma Mia. I prefer watch movies in my home. I rent a movie or see it for internet in my bed. It's more comfortable for me. I like to guffaw so much and I cry with anything.
 
  My favorite film is El viaje de Chihiro because I remember to see this movie with all my family and I remember this happy moment with their.
 
  El viaje de Chihiro (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi) is about adventures of Chihiro Ogino, a girl of 10 years that is in the process of moving (house) with her parents. in the process, her father to lose the way and they to go at rare tunnel and discover a new world.  The parents of Chihiro go to the restaurant because they are hungry but Chihiro went all over place. In the night, her parents are converted in pigs and she tray of search a form to break the spell and return their home.
 
  I recomended this movie if you like anime. If you don't like anime maybe you're boring.

Mp4: I don't know to live without you!!!

My favorite piece of technology is Mp4. I think that all joung people don't live without music. The most wonderfull of mp4 is that you can to see videos, too.
 
 The Mp4 is a digital multimedia reproductor. The name Mp4 player is a marketing term for portable media players that comply with certain standards and formats. The MP4 can reproduce video, songs and pictures.
 
I have my Mp4 since 3 month ago because I bought for my birthday. I have a Master-G Reproductor Mp4 Kore of 4GB. I bought my Mp4 very cheap!!!
 
 I use my Mp4 for to listen my favorite music all day. It's very funny when I'm in the bus and the people moves at rhythm of my music!!! hahahahaha. I read some text of my university in my Mp4, too. In my reproductor I can see some pictures of my favorites singers and finally, I use it for to see videos of my groups of music favorites (and practice this dances)
 
 I like the Mp4 because it's a complete device: is portable, light, aestetic, cute and easy to use. It has all things that I use habitually and I can to go at anywhere.
 
I think that without my Mp4 my life don't change too much. I did not have at 3 months ago so, I think that conform me with my Mp3 ;)

The animals and me... friends forever!!!

I love animals... some people call at persons like me "animal lovers". 

Blanquita

When I was a child, I got a dog. We called it "Daisy". It was black and very, very agly. Now, I have other dog called "Blanquita”. It to go at my home at 3 years ago and it's a member of my family. When it was a puppy, was white dog but before it transform in a yellow dog, I don't know how (hahahahahaha). 

Personally, I think if I was an animal, I was a cat… I like how they are a free and independent animal.

I love to much at Blanquita and I hate the use of animals for medical research. This is an abuse them and I think is terrible. I don't use cosmetic that use this type of forms from experiment and I don't visit circus with animals, for example. I respect rights animals because they feels like us.

But, I think that the animals are just animals. Some people exceed the limits when they to deal with it like a person. For example, a woman those buy everyday an accessory for her pet or a men that eat with it. For me, it’s too much.

Santiago Pavlovic: A referent at journalism

Santiago Pavlovic Urrionabarrenechea was born in Machalí, Chile. He has 4 brothers and playing with them and friends, he lost his eye. He studied in University of Chile journalism and University of Senfer Freies film and television. Since then he has served as presenter on television, radio host and reporter. Now continuous currently conducting Informe Especial (Special Report) on TVN and a radio program called Mañana es otro día (Tomorrow is another day).

He works in a television program, Informe Especial. Every thursday on TVN the reporter investigates about conflictive or difficult topics. Him work in this program I liked since girl and was one of the things that motivated me to study journalism.He works with emotions of the people, he gets involded with them. He’s a confrontational man.

I like Santiago Pavlovic because he is a proffesional journalist. He's an investigation journalist and everybody can see this. He has credibility and a history of hit report. I would like to have the respect he has in the communications media.
